Magdalini Kolokitha

Assistant Professor

My name is Magdalini Kolokitha and I am Assistant Professor of Sociology of Education at the Department of Primary Education, University of Thessaly. I have taught at undergraduate and postgraduate level at various universities, including UCL, UEL and EAP. My publications include articles, chapters in collective volumes and reports of research projects. My research interests include the sociology of education, inequalities, the sociology of politics, qualitative and digital research methodologies, as well as policy sociology analysis regarding European higher education, digitalization and disaster education. I have participated in more than 19 research projects with interdisciplinary and transnational research at institutions in Greece and the United Kingdom. My most recent research activity focuses on digitalization in education, political governance, and disaster education through a critical approach.
